Founder, Another Limited Rebellion
Noah Scalin has authored five books on design and creativity and travelled the world bringing his message of creative potential and design activism to everyone from incarcerated teenagers to Fortune 500 executives. He founded Another Limited Rebellion Inc. in 2001, with an idea that he could make a living doing what he enjoyed and effect positive change in the world. This business resulted in collaborations with hundreds of non-profits and arts organizations.
In June 2007, he had hit a creative wall and struggling to find inspiration he made a small paper skull and posted it on the internet. The resulting project Skull-A-Day became an Internet phenomenon that has led to a Webby Award, an appearance on the Martha Stewart Show.
A graduate of the NYU’s Tisch School of The Arts, Noah began his career as the art director for Troma Entertainment and Avirex clothing. Noah’s artwork is collected internationally and has been exhibited in museums and galleries including the Mütter Museum in Philadelphia, the International Museum of Surgical Science in Chicago, and Krause Gallery in NYC.
